Idiom 5 – Fed up

If you are fed up with something, you have had enough and are a little angry about it.

Fed up = die Schnauze voll haben

The idiom of course comes from the idea of having eaten enough food and being „fed up“ („fed“ is the past form of „feed“). You can also extend the idiom by saying something like „I’m fed up to the back teeth“ or „I’m fed up to the eyeballs.“
